I have done pictures since I can remember. I took all the art classes in junior high and high school I could and naturally became an art major in college. I graduated with a BFA in art and writing and marry the two by writing and illustrating children's books.

Nathan,
I'm looking at the illustration again and I'm more impressed today than last night. I love the angular features. There is a definite likeness between
the boy and the grandpa hanging on the wall.

The hands are expressive, the eyes "focused", angular cheek bones.

Glad to read about the infor about the "editor's call".
